Job Description:

Prime Partners is looking for a dedicated and skilled Voice & Data Technician to join our growing team in Flagstaff, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing voice, data, and electronic communications systems in commercial environments, predominantly focusing on new construction and big box retail sectors. The areas that border the job location include Sedona, Williams, and Winslow.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice and data cabling systems, ensuring they comply with all relevant local and national codes.
2. Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication systems, including network and switch systems.
3. Coordinate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus.
4. Inspect low voltage systems and circuits to ensure they meet specifications.
5. Work with project managers and team leaders to accomplish all daily responsibilities given to the construction team.
6. Handle operations and maintenance of telecom equipment and systems.
7. Provide high level of customer service on a consistent basis.
8. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician or a related role within the commercial electrical industry.
3. Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, network infrastructure, and electrical systems.
4. Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
5. Ability to work in different environments, including outdoors, construction sites, and commercial properties.
6. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
7. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
8. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
9. Must be able to lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirement:

1. BICSI certification is preferred.
2. Must be willing to travel to job sites within Flagstaff and nearby cities such as Sedona, Williams, and Winslow.
3. Must pass drug test, background check, and have a clean driving record.
4. Must be willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by project demands.
