Journeyman Electrician at Prime Partners

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Flagstaff, AZ (including surrounding cities)

Job Description: Prime Partners, one of the leading electrical service providers in Flagstaff, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential properties. This position will also require travel to surrounding cities such as Sedona, Winslow, and Williams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
8. Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
9. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
2. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
3. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
4. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
8. Valid license to practice the profession.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid state Journeyman Electrician license.
3. At least 4 years of electrical experience.
4. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
5. Be willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
6. Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
7. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Must pass a background check and drug screening test.
