Core Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain commercial electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, lighting fixtures, and power circuits.
• Accurately measure, cut, and bend conduit (EMT, rigid) for system installations.
• Perform wire pulling, labeling, and termination, ensuring neat and secure connections.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools like multimeters and ensure circuits meet NEC code requirements.
• Work collaboratively with other trades to plan and execute electrical installations within construction schedules.
• Supervise apprentices, providing guidance on proper techniques and safety practices.
• Maintain organized and clean job sites, adhering to all safety and operational standards.

Advanced Technical Duties

• Execute complex electrical designs and installations for high-tech projects in Bellevue and Redmond.
• Implement energy-efficient solutions and smart systems technology.

Safety Protocols

Qualifications

• Valid journeyman electrician license.

Essential Certifications
