What Your Week Actually Looks Like

As a Journeyman Electrician at Prime Partners, your week will be filled with hands-on tasks that bring commercial projects to life. You’ll install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, working with EMT, RMC, and PVC conduits. Your expertise will shine as you pull, terminate, and test wiring and install lighting, panels, switchgear, and control systems. Each day, you’ll interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure installations meet code requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and other trades, keeping construction timelines on track. Mentoring apprentices, enforcing job site safety, and ensuring installations comply with NEC standards and client specifications are all part of your role. Our projects range from state-of-the-art office buildings to complex retail spaces, and you’ll be an integral part of our skilled team, sharing knowledge and expertise.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To thrive at Prime Partners, you need a valid journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience, with at least 4 years of experience in the field. We value practical skills, such as proficiency in conduit bending, panel terminations, and blueprint reading, over paper qualifications. A strong knowledge of NEC codes and commercial electrical systems is essential, along with excellent troubleshooting skills. Your ability to supervise apprentices and work effectively in fast-paced commercial environments will set you apart.
