Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking an experienced and diligent Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical wiring systems, fixtures, and equipment. This position requires a deep understanding of the National Electrical Code and a commitment to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
8. Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
9. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
2. Experience working as a journeyman electrician.
3. Proven expertise at troubleshooting electrical systems.
4. In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
8. Valid license to practice the profession.

Requirements:

1. Must possess a Journeyman Electrician’s license.
2. A minimum of 5 years of electrical installation experience.
3. Strong working knowledge of job site safety.
4. High standard of integrity and professionalism.
5. Must have personal reliable transportation.
6. Must be willing to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time.
7. Must be willing to travel to surrounding cities (San Luis, Somerton, Wellton, and Winterhaven).
8. Must be able to lift, push, pull heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), and navigate construction job site terrain.
9. Must be able to climb ladders, operate lift equipment, and work on rooftops and in crawl spaces.
