Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in Scottsdale, AZ, but may also service surrounding cities including Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, and Gilbert. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This includes both residential and commercial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems, including fire alarms and security systems.
8. Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
9. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
10. Collaborate with construction and architectural teams.
11. Train and mentor apprentice electricians.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
2. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
3. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
4. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
5. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
6. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
7. Valid license to practice the profession.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license.
3. Completed apprenticeship.
4. Journeyman Electrician License.
5. 5+ years of experience in the electrical industry.
6. Proficient in the National Electrical Code (NEC).
7. Strong attention to detail with a dedication to quality.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
9. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
