Job Description: We are looking for a qualified Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Prime Partners. This role will involve installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems, while adhering to all safety regulations and codes. The ideal candidate will be reliable and have a strong understanding of electrical systems and an aptitude for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
2. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components
3. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
4. Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and residential electrical systems
5. Ensure electrical work performed is in accordance with relevant codes
6. Collaborate with architects and engineers to determine the best placement of electrical wiring
7. Train and supervise apprentices to develop quality skills
8. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units

Qualifications:

1. Valid state Journeyman Electrician license
2. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician
3. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools, electrical drawings, and blueprints
4. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician

Requirements:

1. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
2. Good knowledge of various test equipment
3. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Ability to follow all safety standards in place
7. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
