Journeyman Electrician at Prime Partners

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Oceanside, CA

Job Description: Prime Partners, a leading provider of electrical services in Oceanside, CA, is seeking a skilled, experienced, and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings across Oceanside and surrounding cities, including Carlsbad, Vista, and Encinitas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
8. Install and maintain wiring and lighting systems.
9. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
2. At least 5 years of experience working as a journeyman electrician.
3. Experience in both residential and commercial environments is a plus.
4. Valid state license or certification to work as a Journeyman Electrician.
5. Proficient understanding of the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
6. Ability to read and follow technical drawings and blueprints.
7. Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 90 pounds.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Successful completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school is required.
3. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
4. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and occasionally holidays.
5. Must pass drug and background check.
