Fire Alarm Technician at Prime Partners

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Prime Partners. The technician will be responsible for installing, programming, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in new construction office buildings and hospitals, as well as maintaining existing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, service, and repair fire alarm systems in new construction office buildings and hospitals.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on existing fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire alarm systems and equipment.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and other team members.
• Understand and follow blueprints and fire alarm system plans.
• Keep up-to-date records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards.
• Respond to emergency call-outs for fire alarm system faults.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and interact with clients in a professional manner.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
• NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
• Experience with various fire alarm system brands and models.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
• Excellent communication skills.

Service Area:

The successful candidate will be providing services in Scottsdale, AZ, and surrounding cities.

Safety Requirements:

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures is necessary.
• Wearing safety gear (hard hats, gloves, etc.) is mandatory during work hours.
• Adherence to OSHA safety standards is a must.
