Position: Commercial Electrician Location: Scottsdale, AZ Company: Prime Partners

Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily focus on new construction office buildings and hospitals. The ideal candidate will have a combination of apprentice and journeyman level skillsets and will be responsible for installation, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Manage projects and lead teams of less experienced apprentices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Read blueprints and technical diagrams.
9. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
10. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
3. Experience working as a commercial electrician.
4. Proven experience as an electrician at the journeyman level.
5. Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.
6. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
7. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools.
8. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
9. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
10. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
11. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
12. Valid license to practice profession.

Service Area: This position will service Scottsdale and the surrounding cities. Some travel may be required.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge: Candidate must have knowledge and experience working with conduit benders, voltage testers, wire strippers, multimeters, cable cutters, power drills/saws, and other electrical installation and troubleshooting equipment.

Safety Requirements and Protocols: Employee must always adhere to all company and site safety policies and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
