As a Fire Alarm Tech at Mirapath, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems specifically tailored for educational institutions in Mountain View, CA and the surrounding areas. You will collaborate with a team of skilled technicians to ensure the safety and compliance of fire alarm systems across multiple educational facilities.
Essential Functions for Fire Alarm Tech
- Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in educational institutions.
- Diagnose and repair technical issues related to fire alarm systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure systems meet local and national fire codes.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver customized solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to facility staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs.
Required Qualifications for Fire Alarm Tech at Mirapath
- 2-4 years of experience in fire alarm systems installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: Notifier Certification.
- Experience with: Edwards EST Systems, Fire-Lite Systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and climbing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: OSHA 10.
- Experience with: Silent Knight Systems.
- Specialized experience in educational institution projects.
- Proficiency with industry-related tools and technology.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Mountain View, CA.
- Additional locations: Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Los Altos, and Santa Clara.
- Schedule: Full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $26.86-$33.11 per hour.
