Role Overview:

McCall Electric is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Office Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role is designed for individuals eager to develop their skills in a commercial environment. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to significant commercial projects. Your role will include supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the supervision of seasoned professionals.

Requirements for Office Apprentice Electrician

• Key Responsibilities for Commercial Projects:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial facilities.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

• Required Certifications:

  • Basic Electrical Safety certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

• Experience With:

  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Proficiency with power tools such as Milwaukee and DeWalt.
  • Familiarity with digital multimeters, particularly Fluke models.

• Typical Projects:

  • Office buildings

  • Hospitals
  • Schools

• Experience:

  • 1-2 years of electrical experience.
  • Valid electrical license for Alabama.
  • Experience with OSHA 10 and power tools (Milwaukee, DeWalt).

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.

• Safety Knowledge:

  • Comprehension of safety regulations and best practices in the electrical industry.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with digital multimeters (Fluke).
• Previous involvement in commercial project environments.

• Primary Location: Huntsville, AL
• Neighboring Cities: Madison, Decatur, Athens, and Harvest.
• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $21.77-$26.81 per hour, depending on experience.
