Industrial Electrician at Kirby Electric

Our company is situated in a vibrant area, surrounded by neighboring cities such as Rocklin, Citrus Heights, and Lincoln, providing a dynamic and engaging working environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continuous operation of our 24/7 manufacturing facility, where you will apply your expertise in automated manufacturing systems and industrial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain automated manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley PLCs and Siemens drives
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime
• Repair industrial machinery and perform necessary equipment upgrades
• Respond to emergency calls and perform autonomous troubleshooting of complex systems

Required Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of automated manufacturing systems and industrial controls
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Siemens drives
• Strong background in 480V 3-phase power, motor controls, and equipment repair
• Must possess Journeyman License, OSHA-30 certification, and Arc Flash certification
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and lockout/tagout procedures
• Ability to read ladder logic and demonstrate proven technical troubleshooting skills
• 5+ years of experience required for Journeyman work in an industrial setting
