Qualifications for Fire Alarm Technician
- Experience: 3-5 years as a Fire Alarm Technician.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with fire alarm control panels and programming, with a strong grasp of local fire codes and NFPA standards.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities, along with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities for Fire Alarm Technician
- Installation & Maintenance: Expertly install and maintain fire alarm systems, ensuring all components function correctly and meet design specifications.
- Testing & Compliance: Conduct system testing and resolve any operational issues, ensuring compliance with local fire codes.
- Coordination & Documentation: Work closely with contractors and electricians for seamless integration, and maintain detailed installation records. Provide training and respond to service calls when necessary.
