Job Description:

Prime Partners, a leading electrical services company, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Surprise, AZ. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the electrical industry, demonstrating technical skills, knowledge of current codes, and a strong dedication to safety on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
2. Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
3. Run tests and inspections on electrical systems and identify faults.
4. Use electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults.
5. Ensure compliance with state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
6. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
7. Assist in budgeting for materials and labor.
8. Collaborate with management and colleagues.
9. Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.
10. Provide preventive maintenance for equipment and scheduled maintenance inspections.
11. Respond to emergency calls and troubleshoot issues to identify solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Arizona.
2. At least 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
3. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma from a technical school or completion of an apprenticeship.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
2. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on call as needed.
3. Ability to travel for work to surrounding cities such as El Mirage, Sun City West, Peoria, and Glendale.
4. Must pass a drug test, background check, and have a clean driving record.
