Key Responsibilities

• Design and install comprehensive electrical systems for commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes.
• Calculate voltage drop and load requirements to optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with BIM modeling teams to identify and resolve conflicts before they impact construction timelines.
• Supervise the prefabrication of electrical assemblies to improve efficiency and reduce on-site labor.
• Implement and manage complex lighting control systems, including DALI and DMX protocols.
• Install and program fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications.
• Manage material logistics for large projects, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
• Coordinate overhead rough-in work with mechanical trades to streamline project workflows.
• Perform startup and commissioning of building systems, ensuring all systems operate as intended.
• Mentor apprentices, sharing expert knowledge in commercial installation techniques and safety practices.
• Conduct site-specific safety audits in accordance with Wyoming state regulations.
• Address unique electrical challenges posed by Cheyenne’s high-altitude climate and varying infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman License with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a commercial setting.
• Extensive experience with advanced lighting control systems, specifically DALI and DMX.
• Proven expertise in fire alarm installation and programming, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in BIM software for effective project coordination and conflict resolution.
• Advanced knowledge of emergency power systems and integration with building automation.
• Certification in operating multiple types of lift equipment, including boom and scissor lifts.
• Strong project management and leadership skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Familiarity with energy codes and green building requirements, with specific knowledge of Wyoming’s regulations.
• Experience managing projects in the Cheyenne area, understanding regional climate and infrastructure challenges.
