Security Technician at IES Electric
Join the team at IES Electric as a Security Systems Installer, specializing in low voltage commercial projects in Knoxville, TN. This role involves working on cutting-edge security solutions, ensuring the safety and security of businesses in Knoxville and its neighboring cities, such as Oak Ridge, Maryville, and Sevierville. As a key member of our team, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining security systems, including IP camera systems, access control platforms, and intrusion detection devices.
Qualifications
- ESA Level 1 certification
- Experience with Milestone, Genetec, or similar VMS platforms
- OSHA-10 certification
- Low voltage license (where required)
- Knowledge of network basics, PoE, basic programming, and system commissioning
- Clean background check and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-3 years of experience required for security work in a commercial setting
Key Responsibilities
- Install security cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection devices
- Configure basic system programming
- Maintain security equipment
- Troubleshoot system issues
- Conduct local travel between customer sites
