We are urgently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join IES Electric in Irvine, CA. You will play a crucial role in our long-term projects by installing, maintaining, and optimizing renewable energy systems in commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure the efficient and safe operation of solar panels, energy storage systems, and inverters.
Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years as a Journeyman Electrician.
- Certification: Valid California Journeyman Certification from the Department of Industrial Relations.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of NEC, solar, and battery storage regulations, and proficiency in using diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician
- System Installation: Install and maintain solar panels, energy storage systems, and inverters for commercial properties.
- Conduit and Wiring: Route and install conduit (EMT, rigid) and wiring for high-voltage DC and AC systems.
- System Testing: Perform testing and commissioning of solar arrays to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
