Position Overview: Healthcare Apprentice Electrician

IES Electric is seeking a dedicated and motivated Healthcare Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team in Marietta, GA. As an apprentice electrician, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in a commercial environment, with a particular focus on healthcare facilities. Essential Functions

• Key Responsibilities for Commercial Projects:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components in commercial settings, including hospitals and healthcare facilities.
  • Perform tasks involving conduit bending, routing, and installation to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems.
  • Utilize basic test equipment to troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on electrical systems.
  • Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and trades to ensure project completion within deadlines and to quality standards.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

• Required Certifications:

  • California ET Card
  • OSHA 10 Certification

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in an electrical work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with power tools in a commercial setting.
• Prior experience working on commercial projects, particularly in healthcare or similar environments.

• Primary Location: Marietta, GA
• Neighboring Cities: Smyrna, Kennesaw, Roswell, Sandy Springs, and Atlanta.
• Schedule: Full-time position with opportunities for overtime depending on project demands.

• Pay Range: $21.2 - $28.59 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
