Automation Controls Specialist at Helix Electric
Helix Electric is excited to announce an opening for an Automation Controls Specialist in the heart of St. Louis, MO. This position offers the chance to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team, working on the cutting edge of automation technology. Our Automation Controls Specialists are experts in multiple PLC platforms, robotics integration, and motion control systems. This role requires a high degree of specialization, an outstanding ability to problem-solve under pressure, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the automation industry. This position offers considerable growth opportunities and requires 60-80% travel for robot cell commissioning and automation system deployments.
Location
St. Louis, Missouri, neighboring to Chesterfield, Wildwood, Maryland Heights, and Ballwin.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience as an Automation Controls Specialist.
- Expertise in multiple PLC platforms including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Omron.
- Proficiency in robotics integration and motion control systems.
- Universal Robotics certification, FANUC robotics certification, OSHA-30, and PMMI Mechatronics certification.
- Experience with servo systems, vision systems, and industrial safety systems (Safety PLC).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, and panel design.

- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technicians.
Pay and Benefits
- Salary Range: $49.45-$58.73 per hour.
