Key Responsibilities
Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, commission automated production lines, perform root cause analysis on system failures, implement predictive maintenance programs using vibration analysis and thermal imaging, design and install complex motor control circuits, manage electrical spare parts inventory, train apprentices on industrial systems, coordinate with equipment manufacturers for complex repairs, develop standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks, perform power quality analysis and harmonic mitigation. Collaborate with local utility providers in St. Louis, ensure compliance with Missouri’s electrical codes, support regional manufacturing expansions, and participate in local industry safety forums.
Required Qualifications
Advanced certification in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming, demonstrated experience with industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profibus), expertise in VFD programming and troubleshooting, proficiency with thermal imaging and vibration analysis equipment, ability to read and create AutoCAD electrical drawings, experience with SCADA systems and HMI programming, proven leadership skills in maintenance environment, understanding of IEEE standards for industrial power quality. 5+ years of experience required for Journeyman work in industrial settings. Familiarity with St. Louis’s manufacturing landscape, Missouri electrical licensing, and local environmental regulations is essential.
