Security Technician at HCI Systems

Qualifications

• ESA Level 1 certification is mandatory.
• Must hold a low voltage license where required.
• Experience with IP cameras and knowledge of access control systems.
• Proficient in using Milestone, Genetec, or similar VMS platforms.
• Understanding of network basics, PoE (Power over Ethernet), and basic programming.
• Ability to perform system commissioning.
• Must pass a clean background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1-3 years of experience in security work within a commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Install security cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection devices.
• Configure basic system programming and perform system commissioning.
• Maintain and repair security equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively.
• Travel locally between customer sites to perform installations and maintenance.
