Job Summary:

We are seeking a capable and dedicated Solar Panel Installer to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. You will be tasked with installing, maintaining, and repairing solar panel systems for our large-scale solar farm projects. This role requires technical proficiency, physical stamina, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of solar panels and systems, ensuring proper alignment for optimal energy production.
• Reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and technical instructions.
• Checking electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety of system components.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as voltage meters and other testing devices.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for self and colleagues.
• Performing regular maintenance on solar systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Working closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Keeping up to date with the latest developments and technologies in the world of solar power.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in solar installation, electrical work, or related field.
• Working knowledge of solar installation tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical concepts and solar energy.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders and work at heights.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solar panel installation certification.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Familiarity with the Phoenix and surrounding areas.
• Previous experience in construction or working on solar farms.

Safety Requirements:

• Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR would be advantageous.
• Regular use of personal protective equipment.
