Cable Technician at Crosby Electric

Crosby Electric is seeking a skilled Commercial Cable Technician to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This role will primarily involve the installation of Cat5e/6/6A, fiber optics, and cable certification testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Fluke testing equipment and cable management systems. We are looking for someone who is well-versed in structured cabling standards, blueprint reading, and documentation practices. This position is based in Philadelphia, PA, but it may also involve work in neighboring cities including Camden, Cherry Hill, Wilmington, and Trenton.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Commercial Cable Technician
• BICSI Installer 2 certification
• OSHA-10 certification
• Network+ certification
• Expertise in Cat5e/6/6A installation
• Experience with fiber optics
• Experience with cable certification testing
• Proficiency with Fluke testing equipment
• Familiarity with cable management systems

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of structured cabling standards
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience with documentation practices

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $27.36-$35.1 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and continuous training opportunities.
