Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Project Manager to join our team in Burbank, CA. In this role, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle for commercial AV integration projects in the Los Angeles area, ensuring seamless execution from initial consultation to project completion. Collaboration with clients, internal teams, and external partners will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Strategy

• Conduct project assessments and client needs analysis.
• Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
• Define clear project objectives and deliverables.
• Create and manage comprehensive project plans.

Client Collaboration

• Act as the primary client liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain open communication, addressing client concerns and requirements promptly.
• Provide regular progress updates and reports to clients.

Team Leadership

• Assemble and lead cross-functional teams, including AV technicians, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure team members have necessary resources and information.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Resource Management

• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of necessary equipment and materials.
• Monitor and control project costs effectively.

Quality Assurance

• Oversee AV system installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
• Conduct quality control inspections and tests.
• Address and resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., AV technology, project management).
• Proven experience managing commercial AV integration projects.
• Strong knowledge of signal flow for audio, video, and controls.
• Deep understanding of AV systems, equipment, and technologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Nice-to-Have

• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
• Experience leading projects ranging from $50,000 to $250,000+.
• Certifications such as Extron AV Associate, Crestron Professional Installation, or AMX Installer.
• Advanced training in AV networking and programming.
