Overview of Fire Alarm Designer Role

As a Fire Alarm Designer at Alert 360, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fire alarm systems for a variety of environments. Working closely with our project management and installation teams, you will ensure each system is designed to meet both regulatory standards and client specifications. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the safety and reliability of the fire protection systems we deliver.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop detailed fire alarm designs.
• Utilize Fire Alarm Design Software to create comprehensive plans and system layouts.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including NFPA 1041 and NFPA 1042.
• Coordinate with installation teams to provide guidance on system installation and configuration.
• Conduct on-site inspections and testing to verify system functionality and compliance.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
• Provide technical support and training to clients regarding system operation and maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical experience, specifically in fire alarm systems.
• Valid electrical license for Arizona.
• Proficiency in using Fire Alarm Design Software and Installation Tools.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and working in confined spaces.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and practices in the field.

Preferred Qualifications
