Position Overview
The Fire Alarm Tech will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems primarily in office building projects. This role involves working closely with project managers and clients to ensure systems are installed and functioning according to specifications and regulations.
Essential Functions
- Install, configure, and test fire alarm systems in office buildings.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of installed systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions and issues.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
- NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems certification.
- Proven experience working with Silent Knight and Notifier Systems.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working in various building environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Edwards EST Certification is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency with Silent Knight Systems.
- Experience with specialized fire alarm systems in office settings.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: El Segundo, CA
- Schedule: Full-time, with occasional on-call or overtime work as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $27.6-$33.64 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
