Position Overview at Wisetel
As a Fire Alarm Tech at Wisetel, based in Ladera Ranch, CA, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, primarily within healthcare facilities. Your role will extend to serving neighboring cities, ensuring systems meet safety standards and client specifications. You will work closely with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions and maintain system integrity.
Essential Functions for Fire Alarm Tech
- Install, test, and repair fire alarm systems in healthcare facilities.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of existing systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local and national fire safety regulations.
Required Qualifications for Fire Alarm Tech at Wisetel
- 2-4 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: Simplex 4100 Certification.
- Experience with Simplex Systems and Edwards EST Systems.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: Notifier Certification.
- Extensive experience with Simplex Systems.
- Prior experience working in healthcare facilities.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools required for system installation and maintenance.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Ladera Ranch, CA.
- Additional locations: Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, San Juan Capistrano, Aliso Viejo, and Rancho Santa Margarita.
- Schedule: Full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $26.65-$33.28 per hour.
