Security Technician at WiLine

Join our dynamic team at WiLine as a Security Systems Installer, where you’ll play a critical role in enhancing security measures for low voltage commercial projects in Columbus, GA. We are seeking an experienced professional with a solid understanding of IP camera systems, access control platforms, and intrusion detection devices. As a Security Systems Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients in Columbus and neighboring cities such as Phenix City, Auburn, and LaGrange receive top-notch security installations. This role involves local travel between customer sites, and a clean background check and drug screening are mandatory.

Qualifications

• ESA Level 1 certification
• OSHA-10 certification
• Low voltage license (where required)
• 1-3 years of experience in security work within a commercial setting
• Proficiency with Milestone, Genetec, or similar VMS platforms
• Strong knowledge of IP cameras and access control systems
• Understanding of network basics, PoE, basic programming, and system commissioning
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean background check

Key Responsibilities

• Install security cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection devices for commercial projects
• Configure basic system programming and ensure proper commissioning of security systems
• Maintain and service security equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly and effectively
• Travel locally to various customer sites to perform installations and maintenance
