Position Overview at Vision Technologies
The AV Systems Tech at Vision Technologies will play a crucial role in supporting and implementing audiovisual projects for educational institutions in Lake Forest, CA, and the surrounding areas. This position involves hands-on installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions for AV Systems Tech
- Install, configure, and maintain AV systems, including QSC Q-SYS and Extron Electronics.
- Perform routine checks and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and service calls.
Required Qualifications for AV Systems Tech at Vision Technologies
- 3-5 years of experience in AV system installation and maintenance.
- QSC Certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience with QSC Q-SYS and Extron Electronics systems.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and work in various physical environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- CTS Installation certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with AMX Control Systems is a plus.
- Specialized experience in educational institution projects.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for AV installations.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Lake Forest, CA
- Additional locations: Irvine, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, and surrounding areas.
- Schedule: Full-time position with potential for overtime as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $30.86-$37.05 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
