We are urgently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician at ChargePoint in Lake Forest, CA, for long-term projects. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems specifically designed for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Your expertise will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of these installations, contributing to the advancement of our sustainable infrastructure projects.

Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician

• Experience & Certification: 3-5 years as a Journeyman Electrician with a valid certification from the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of NEC and California Electric Code, particularly in EV charging station installations.
• Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to supervise apprentices, manage on-site safety, and communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician

• Perform installations and maintenance of EV charging stations, service panels, and transformers.
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit with precision, ensuring compliance with NEC and California codes.
• Conduct load calculations, system testing, and performance verification to ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers and trades to meet construction deadlines and quality standards.
• Mentor apprentices, promoting adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
