Retail Cable Technician Role Overview

As a Retail Cable Technician at Tri City Electric, you will play a vital role in our commercial projects team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cable systems in various commercial settings. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring that our clients have reliable and efficient cable networks that meet their operational needs.

Essential Functions

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems in commercial environments such as office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
• Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal cable routes and installation methods.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, including OSHA 10 and BICSI protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service requests.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical experience with a focus on commercial projects.
• Valid electrical license for the state of Colorado.
• Proven experience with OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR certifications.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various physical environments.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and procedures in the electrical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BICSI certification and practices.
• Proven track record of successful commercial project involvement.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Greeley, CO.
• Neighboring cities include Windsor, Evans, Loveland, and Fort Collins.
• Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to accommodate project timelines and client needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $23.3-$25.77 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
