Job Responsibilities

Electrical Experience Needed

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial new construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
• Install conduit, wiring, panels, breakers, switches, and lighting systems to meet project specifications.
• Test electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Project Execution

• Work collaboratively with project managers, site supervisors, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure installations meet California electrical codes and company quality standards.
• Follow job site protocols to maintain safety and minimize disruptions to construction schedules.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all OSHA and site-specific safety regulations.
• Perform work in compliance with California electrical codes and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality of electrical systems.

Additional Duties

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices and less experienced team members.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid California Journeyman Electrician License (must be current).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with a focus on commercial construction.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of California electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Experience with commercial new construction projects.

Nice to Have

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
