Residential Electrician at TR Group

TR Group, a well-established electrical contracting company located in Chicago, IL, is actively seeking a Residential Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of electrical theory, residential wiring methods, load calculations, and panel installations. Required Experience

• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a Residential Electrician.
• Proficiency in basic electrical theory and residential wiring methods (NM cable/Romex).
• Experience with load calculations and panel installations.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools (Klein, Knipex), power tools (Milwaukee, DeWalt), digital multimeters (Fluke), and basic test equipment.
• Proven experience with residential rough-in, service upgrades, fixture/device installation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Must be enrolled in or eligible for state-approved apprenticeship program.

Certifications and Licenses

• Must possess a valid Electrical Apprentice License/Trainee Card.
• OSHA-10 certification required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with residential service panel upgrades.
• Experience with residential new construction wiring.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E, National Electrical Safety Code.
