Key Responsibilities

As a Rack Stack Installer, you’ll be our go-to person for setting up and configuring server rack infrastructure. This means you’ll be handling structured cabling installations and making sure our cable management systems are top-notch. You’ll be mounting network equipment, installing power distribution units, and coordinating equipment deployments. Keeping track of it all is crucial, so maintaining detailed rack documentation and managing hardware inventory are key parts of the job. Plus, you’ll be executing rack and stack procedures, implementing labeling systems, and following clean room protocols to the letter.

In the Cary area, you’ll also be:

• Collaborating with local network teams to ensure seamless operations
• Adhering to North Carolina’s specific safety and compliance regulations
• Playing a vital role in an exciting new project at the upcoming Cary Data Hub

Required Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with solid experience in rack and stack procedures and structured cabling. You should know your way around mounting systems and power distribution like the back of your hand. Experience with inventory systems and a knack for understanding network hardware is essential. Attention to detail is a must, and you’ll need to be comfortable reading and interpreting technical documentation.

• You’ll need 1-3 years of data center work experience in a commercial setting
• Familiarity with Cary’s local tech ecosystem is a plus
• Having some knowledge of the regional power distribution standards will definitely set you apart
