The Fire Alarm Tech position at Teleco in La Palma, CA focuses on installing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems in office buildings. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients’ properties in La Palma and surrounding areas. The technician will collaborate with a team of experts to deliver exceptional service and support.

Essential Functions for Fire Alarm Tech

• Install, test, and repair fire alarm systems in office buildings.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions and provide technical support to clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members on large-scale office building projects.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs.

Required Qualifications for Fire Alarm Tech at Teleco

• 2-4 years of experience in fire alarm systems installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: Edwards EST Certification.
• Experience with Simplex Systems and Notifier Systems.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and climbing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: Simplex 4100 Certification.
• Specialized experience with Simplex Systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Additional locations: Anaheim, Cerritos, Buena Park, Cypress, and Fullerton.
• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $28.83-$34.2 per hour
