Fire Alarm Tech at Telco Data

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician for our Telco Data location in Brookline, MA. This critical role is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems in varied work environments including Fortune 500 companies, tech startups, and financial institutions. As a key member of a 10+ person regional team, the successful candidate will be expected to travel up to a 100-mile radius and will work the first shift, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain fire alarm systems
• Perform routine inspections and tests on existing fire alarm systems
• Accurately diagnose and repair problems with fire alarm panels, smoke detection, mass notification, and emergency communication systems
• Handle job paperwork and deliver it to the correct personnel after completion of each job
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in the fire alarm industry
• Factory Certifications, OSHA 30
• Proficient in fire alarm panels, smoke detection, mass notification, emergency communication
• Good driving record as travel of up to 100-mile radius is required
• Good communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a corporate environment
• Leadership capabilities and experience in training junior team members
• Familiarity with local market details and regional considerations
