Position Overview at Tech Electronics

Tech Electronics is seeking a skilled Security Systems Technician to join our team in Cleveland, OH, with a focus on healthcare facilities projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ operations. This role involves working closely with healthcare facilities across Cleveland and neighboring cities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Essential Functions for Security Systems Tech

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including access control and video surveillance systems, for healthcare facilities.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of security equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security systems promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of security systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all project activities.

Required Qualifications for Security Systems Tech at Tech Electronics

• 2-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: BICSI Technician.
• Proven experience with AMAG Symmetry and Lenel OnGuard security systems.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in various physical environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: Axis Certification.
• Experience with Milestone XProtect video management software.
• Specialized experience in healthcare facility security systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for system installations.

• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $31.11-$36.11 per hour
