- In-depth knowledge of NEC codes
- Proficiency with conduit bending and electrical tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Leadership abilities to manage apprentices and teams
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain commercial electrical systems
- Work with switchgear, transformers, lighting fixtures, and power circuits
- Accurately measure, cut, and bend conduit (EMT, rigid)
- Perform wire pulling, labeling, and termination
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools like multimeters
- Ensure circuits meet NEC code requirements
- Collaborate with other trades for coordinated installations
- Supervise apprentices and provide guidance on techniques and safety
- Maintain organized and clean job sites
- Adhere to all safety and operational standards
