Controls Technician at Tech Electronics

We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Controls Technician to join our team at Tech Electronics in Pittsburgh, PA. This role requires an expert in PLC programming, including Allen Bradley and Siemens, and HMI development. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial networking protocols and familiarity with VFDs, instrumentation, and SCADA systems. This role is located in Pittsburgh, with close vicinity to neighboring cities such as Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Lancaster.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Controls Technician.
• Proven expertise in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
• Hands-on experience with HMI development.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols.
• Experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and SCADA systems.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of AutoCAD is desired.
• Experience troubleshooting control systems.
• Proven ability to document technical procedures and workflows.

Certifications and Licenses

• Associates/Technical degree required.
• Vendor certifications (Rockwell, Siemens) are necessary.
• OSHA-30 certification is mandatory.

Salary and Benefits

• The salary range for this position is $30.69-$40.04 per hour.
