Position Overview

The Custom Home Master Electrician at TEC Electric plays a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical services for custom home projects. This position involves overseeing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with all local and national codes, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Essential Functions

• Lead and execute electrical installations, maintenance, and repair tasks for custom home projects.
• Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior electricians and apprentices.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of electrical experience in residential construction.
• Valid North Carolina electrical license.
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical codes and safety standards.
• Strong physical ability to perform hands-on work, including lifting, climbing, and kneeling.
• Commitment to safety protocols and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications relevant to the Custom Home Master Electrician role.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Greensboro, NC
• Neighboring cities: High Point, Winston-Salem, Burlington, and Kernersville.
• Schedule: Full-time, with the possibility of make-up shifts to accommodate project needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $36.20-$41.08 per hour.
