Job Overview: Custom Home Commercial Project Manager

As a Custom Home Commercial Project Manager at TEC Electric, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing residential electrical projects from initiation to completion. Your expertise in project management will ensure that custom homes, multi-family units, and remodels are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating with clients, architects, and construction teams to deliver exceptional electrical solutions in residential settings.

Essential Functions

• Project Coordination: Lead and manage all aspects of residential electrical projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Team Leadership: Direct and supervise the work of project teams, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring projects remain within financial constraints.
• Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee project quality assurance, ensuring all work meets technical specifications and standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare regular progress reports.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize expertise in code analysis, estimating tools, and project management software to drive project success.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of electrical experience, specifically in residential projects.
• Licensing: Valid electrical license for the state of Georgia.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in code analysis and estimating tools.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with electrical installations.
• Safety Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification: CAPM certification is highly desirable.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Augusta, GA
• Neighboring Cities: The position is based in Augusta, with potential project sites in neighboring cities such as Evans, Martinez, Hephzibah, and Grovetown, GA.
• Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring availability to meet project demands and deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $38.77 - $44.95 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
