Cable Installer at T&D Communications
Join our team at T&D Communications as a Cable Installation Technician based in Greenville, SC. This role requires travel to nearby cities such as Spartanburg, Anderson, and Simpsonville. As a Cable Installation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will contribute to high-quality telecommunications infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and terminate CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cabling
- Maintain cable management systems
- Perform cable testing and certification
- Pull cable through various pathways
- Document cable installations
Required Qualifications
- BICSI Installer 1 certification
- OSHA-10 certification
- Scissor lift certification
- Experience with cable testing equipment
- Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Valid driver’s license
- 0-2 years of experience in Low Voltage work in Commercial settings
Compensation & Benefits
