Position Overview at T&D Communications

We are seeking an experienced AV Systems Tech to join our team in Westlake Village, CA. This role focuses on healthcare facilities projects, ensuring the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge AV systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with our dynamic team to deliver projects in Westlake Village and neighboring cities, ensuring exceptional service and technical expertise.

Essential Functions for AV Systems Tech

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual systems in healthcare facilities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AV systems.

• Daily Tasks:

  • Conduct site assessments and prepare equipment for installation.
  • Perform regular system checks and preventive maintenance.
  • Document all work performed and update project records.

• Project Involvement:

  • Participate in project planning and design meetings.
  • Assist in the development of AV system solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications for AV Systems Tech at T&D Communications

• 3-5 years of experience in AV systems installation and maintenance.
• QSC Certification is required.
• Proficient in Biamp Audio Systems and QSC Q-SYS.
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed and work on ladders or in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification in Crestron systems is a plus.
• Extensive experience with Biamp Audio Systems.
• Specialized experience in healthcare facility projects.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in AV installations.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Westlake Village, CA
• Additional Locations: Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and surrounding areas.
• Schedule: Full-time, with occasional overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $30.17-$35.87 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
