Background
We are seeking a Cable Tech with extensive experience in structured cabling. The ideal candidate will excel in terminating fiber and copper cables, be familiar with TIA/EIA standards, and have the ability to interpret network blueprints. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing tools and inventory effectively.
Main Duties
- Install structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics
- Terminate and test fiber connections using Fluke equipment
- Install and dress network racks, set up cable tray systems
- Document as-built plans and lead small project teams
