Position Overview

You’ll work primarily within edge data centers, serving clients in telecom, content delivery, and IoT services, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic splicing and testing activities in edge data center environments.
• Ensure quality control and accuracy in all splicing assignments.
• Collaborate with regional team members to address and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks.
• Maintain detailed records of all splicing activities and site visits.
• Travel regularly to nearby major cities to support regional projects.

Required Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in fiber optic splicing.
• Possession of FOA CFOT and ETA Fiber Optics certifications.
• Proficiency in using Fusion Splicers, Visual Fault Locators, Power Meters, and OTDR.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as an OFC Specialist and additional FOA CFOT credentials.
• Previous experience working in telecom or content delivery networks.
• Familiarity with edge data center operations and technologies.
