Position Overview

Staley Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Center Network Engineer to join our team in Council Bluffs, IA. This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing the network infrastructure within our colocation facilities, serving a diverse client base including Managed Service Providers, Enterprise Clients, and Cloud Services. Our ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to network design and troubleshooting, coupled with robust industry certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network solutions to optimize data flow and secure connectivity.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Collaborate within a specialized team of 3-5 engineers to execute complex network projects.
• Conduct regular assessments and upgrades of Cisco IOS configurations and network infrastructure.
• Provide on-call support within a 30-mile radius of the Council Bluffs facility, addressing urgent client needs.

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional experience in network engineering.
• Valid CompTIA Network+ and CCNP certifications.
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS, network analyzers, and configuration management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of network monitoring tools and security practices.
• Experience working in a colocation facility or similar data center environment.
• Familiarity with local network infrastructure challenges in the Council Bluffs area.
