Position Overview
Join Staley Technologies in Austin, TX as a Data Center Network Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the network infrastructure for a diverse client base. Based in a vibrant tech hub, this position offers flexible working hours and requires travel within a 30-mile radius from your home base. You’ll collaborate across multiple project teams, supporting colocation facilities, managed service providers, enterprise clients, and cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced network solutions for diverse clients.
- Monitor network performance using specialized tools and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime.
- Configure and manage network devices using Cisco IOS and other configuration management systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver customized network solutions.
- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical training and support to junior engineers and clients.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in network engineering.
- CompTIA Network+ and CCNP certifications.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools, network analyzers, and configuration management systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional CCNP credentials.
- Advanced expertise with Cisco networking equipment.
- Experience in a colocation or managed services environment.
