Core Cable Installer Responsibilities

Mastering the Art of Cable Installation

Our Cable Installers are tasked with installing structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics, in new and existing buildings. Precision is key as you terminate and test copper and fiber optic cables using advanced tools and testers. You’ll be responsible for mounting, securing, and labeling network racks and patch panels, ensuring the infrastructure is organized and reliable. Installing cable tray and ladder rack systems is essential, requiring careful attention to routing and support protocols. You’ll also dress and bundle cables to meet industry and site-specific standards, ensuring a professional and tidy installation. Reading and interpreting construction blueprints and cabling diagrams are crucial skills, as is coordinating with construction teams to integrate cabling systems seamlessly with other infrastructure components.
