What You’ll Do as an Audio Visual Technician

Your Daily Tasks as an Audio Visual Technician

Install and Set Up Audio-Visual Systems

Your primary responsibility will be to install and configure audio-visual systems, including projectors, monitors, speakers, and microphones, in various commercial settings. You’ll ensure that each component is set up correctly and efficiently to meet client specifications.

Route and Terminate Low-Voltage Cabling

You’ll expertly route and terminate low-voltage cabling for AV components. This involves ensuring all connections are properly labeled and securely fitted, maintaining high standards of organization and safety.

Mount and Secure Equipment

You’ll mount displays, ceiling speakers, and wall control panels with precision, focusing on stability and aesthetics. Your attention to detail will ensure that all equipment is securely installed and aligned for optimal performance.

Perform On-Site System Testing

You’ll conduct comprehensive on-site testing of AV systems, assessing sound quality, video clarity, and overall functionality. This includes identifying and resolving any connectivity or performance issues to ensure flawless operation.

Troubleshoot and Collaborate
